Mitel Technical Accreditation Program

In today's marketplace, customers expect a high degree of technical proficiency from their solution providers. More and more multi-vendor/platform solutions require a better understanding of complex integration practices. Even basic products are becoming more complex with converged solutions and integration of today's advanced applications. Customers are looking for partners who can help them establish buying criteria for emerging technologies and applications and, more importantly, partners they can count on for superior post-sales support.

Launched in February 2011, the new Mitel® Technical Accreditation Program (TAP) is a comprehensive multi-vendor accreditation program developed to ensure your Mitel communications system is designed, installed and serviced by technicians certified in the latest technologies needed to deploy today's contemporary communications solutions. Specifically, TAP recognizes a higher level of solution competencies in Virtualized Voice, Mobility, Contact Center and Unified Communications. You can look at these certifications as validation and with confidence that Mitel authorizedPARTNERs who have achieved these designations have obtained the technical and sales expertise necessary to implement the latest voice, video, virtual and other integrated networking technologies. In addition, the program enables partners that may lack a particular solution competency to "tap" the expertise of and team with other accredited partners to meet their customers' specific needs.

TAP places an emphasis on certifications, solution competencies and customer satisfaction to provide our authorizedPARTNERs with a differentiated model for winning a greater share of application business. The specialist designation represents an investment in training, best practices and an optimal end–user experience. Mitel specialists have the opportunity to redefine the buying criteria during the qualification and discovery sales process and establish solution competencies as a key decision requirement. Upon obtaining designation as a Mitel specialist, authorizedPARTNERs will be able to enhance their sales and marketing efforts with new channel branding materials and resources (see below for details), providing them with a unique opportunity to differentiate themselves from competing VARs. TAP is a great opportunity for qualified channel partners to apply and gain eligibility for future scheduled channel program benefits. Specialist designations will be a part of the metrics and criteria established for higher channel designations.
